About us
Our small bed and breakfast place Pension Morino Garden Mashiko is located between farms and forests. It has been operated since 2009 after we renovated a lovely residence which was built to be a pension in the future.
Mashiko has a unique culture and history, thus we host guests both local and foreign who love art and culture.
Living room
Our guests spend each own way in this open living room filled with soft light. There is a fireplace in front of the sofa and the fire will be lit on the cold winter day. We serve meals in this room.
We sell some potteries. There are some books for both adults and children and some toys (Lego’s Duplo) which you can take to your room and enjoy.
There is a hot and cold water dispenser next to the kitchen counter. Feel free to use it.
Hinoki bath
The bathroom is in a hut next to the main building. Our big bathtub is made from Hinoki wood. Enjoy its aroma with your family. It’s a reservable private bath. We have shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the bathroom. A face towel, a bath towel, and a hairdryer are in the guest room.
Let us note that guests will use another smaller bathroom in the main building when we only have one guest or the weather is extreme.
Terrace and garden
There is a terrace with a long wooden table outside of the living room. It’s a cozy spot during the warm season. You can do a BBQ in the garden.
